Our family had a wonderful time in your beautiful cabin by the ocean. The view was breathtaking. Janet wrote a song/poem while sitting on the deck.

The Homestead
A gull flying overhead arrays the land with grace.
Towering trunks, eternities old, stretch up to the heavens.
The lush greens of life itself bed the whole world over.
Ledges of rock lift the land with the wisdom of solitude.

The swells of the sea pour forever, till they reach the sky;
Crystal waves dance like sunlight on an angel's face.
The faded mountains, blue and mauve, dissolve into the clouds.
Through it all a blanketing sky lies upon perfection.

The distant splash of waves lulls the world to sleep;
The last rays of sun sink below our consciousness.
And for once, we think we taste a bit of heaven
As the beauty of the day returns in our dreams.

What a wonderful place to spend our honeymoon! We thoroughly enjoyed the cabin - so beautiful, every detail and touch makes this cabin a warm place. We had a blast fishing with Keray, and watching the otters, quail, and eagles from the deck. It was hard to leave the deck, but we did manage to get to the tide pools at Port Renfrew, hike to Mystic Beach, and enjoy rain drop massages, too! We hope to see you again!

The Homestead resides on a beautiful piece of God's creation. What a wonderful place to spend our first two evenings together as husband and wife!
